Cycling 45 miles is an experience. What a super day. Did a sponsored cycle run from Derry~Londonderry to Donegal Town today. A tough, but oh so rewarding 3 and a bit hours. This was me at Barnesmore Gap, a perfect U-shaped glacial valley in the heart of County Donegal. The climb up to this point was brutal, but well worth it given the spectacular scenery. Amazingly the weather was great, which is indeed a rare thing in Ireland. Next stop Tour de France…
