Bradley Wiggins wins gold in the Time Trial
You are a hero Mr Wiggo. What an achievement & so well deserved. Someone told me I looked like him the other day. I suppose we do both have a big nose. I just need some sideburns…

It’s always nice to be pleasantly surprised isn’t it?! I actually really enjoyed watching the Opening ceremony of the London Olympics last night. I tuned in just out of curiosity and didn’t know what to expect. But I was thoroughly impressed. Couldn’t stop watching it! In the middle of all the glitz and glamour, James Bond & The Queen (the ACTUAL freaking Queen!), the ordinary everyday stuff of life shone through and was wonderfully celebrated. The thousands of foundry men, black with soot and sweat, building the iconic monuments. The hundreds of the workmen who actually built the stadium who appeared at the end. The work of medical staff who help our sick, disabled and dying. You know, the stuff that goes on everyday that we all kinda take for granted. Well done London. Well done Britain. It was unique, it was fun, it was real. It was human.
